Our Story

Cultural Diplomacy Forum

CDF was born from the belief that diplomacy cannot remain within formal rooms, and that some of today's most difficult political and social questions need new ways of being discussed.

We bring diplomacy into conversation with culture, knowledge and civic experience, using art, memory, heritage and public dialogue to open perspectives, challenge assumptions and build understanding across borders.

Our work is grounded in peacebuilding, intercultural dialogue, social cohesion and rights, with a particular commitment to connecting Türkiye, MENA and Europe.

Our Focus

The Work Behind the Words

Cultural Encounters

Using art, heritage and memory to explore identity, history and shared human experiences.

Policy and Practice

Connecting public dialogue and lived realities with policy thinking and diplomatic engagement.

Regional Networks

Building lasting relationships across Türkiye, MENA, Europe and neighbouring regions.

Knowledge and Continuity

Opening knowledge beyond traditional expert circles, bringing diverse perspectives into public debate and carrying ideas from one conversation into the next.

Our Mission

Bringing People Together. Building Trust.

CDF creates spaces where different perspectives can meet without requiring differences to disappear.

Through cultural diplomacy and intercultural dialogue, we work to build trust, support peace and social cohesion, democratize knowledge, and encourage more inclusive conversations around the political and social questions shaping our societies.

We believe dialogue matters most when it is difficult.
